Why we exist
Most business software fails in the same way. It is built quickly to prove an idea, the prototype becomes production because it works well enough, and then it accumulates a decade of patches on a foundation that was never meant to hold weight. By the time anyone can name the problem, the cost of fixing it has outgrown the appetite.
We start from the other end. The parts that are expensive to get wrong later — how state is stored, how money moves, who can see what, what gets logged — are cheap to get right at the beginning. Everything else can be sloppy and fixed later. Knowing which is which is most of the job.
The tagline is the point where innovation bends into exponential growth, and we mean something specific by it: the bend is not the idea. It is the moment a system stops needing to be rebuilt every time it doubles.

Mutable rows lose their history exactly when you need it. We prefer append-only events with derived views — so a wrong number is a query, not an investigation.

Founded. First engagement was a payments reconciliation rescue that turned into a ledger rebuild.
